Overview
Though their slogan claims that their homes are “Built for The Southern Lifestyle,” Mod-U-Kraf is not limited to any one style of home. Their ranch and colonial homes are certainly a sight, but they also offer cape cod and traditional two-story style homes. Located in Rocky Mount, Virginia, Mod-U-Kraf ships their homes mostly in the Southeast.
What Makes Them Unique?
Established in 1971, Mod-U-Kraf has built it all. They offer over 70 standard home plans, but about 30% of the homes that they build are custom designs. They also build multi-family homes and commercial modular buildings. Mod-U-Kraf is one of five manufacturers that make up Innovative Building Systems along with All American Homes, Excel Homes, IDBS, and Keiser Homes.
